The available data includes bathymetric maps with resolutions ranging from 1 to 25 meters, numerous ROV videos documenting the benthic life conditions, backscatter, CTD, magnetics, water chemistry, SBP, SP and SSS data (see Sodir webpage).
Since 2018, Sodir has acquired 6'818 line kilometers of geophysical seabed data
using autonomous underwater vehicules (AUVs). These AUVs are equipped with advanced sensors
that provide data resolution down to the centimeter level on the seabed. Here are some key numbers:
- AUV survey measurments (points with Eh, pH, ORP, etc.): ~56'026'500 across 62 datasets
- SP data points: 47'013'658 across 29 datasets
- Mag. survey area: ~3'900 km2
- EM survey trackline length: ~3'100 km
